Clarity is not cheap. It costs comfort. It costs approval. It costs the illusion that everything is fine. I used to think seeing clearly would make life easier. But it made it heavier. Because once you see, you can’t unsee. And once you know, you’re responsible. Today, I carry that weight—not as a burden, but as a calling. I don’t run from the cost. I pay it with presence.
